In order to purchase items from our web site follow the following procedure

The Shop

The shop is divided into six categories

We first acquired a range of quality threads and then prepared them carefully before "going-to-town", hand-dyeing them in a vast range of colours which are sure to appeal to the adventurous embroiderer.

The fibres we sell are all hand dyed but are available undyed, if required.

The fabrics I dye are all used in my teaching at some point.

Packs include instructions and materials  to enable you to create some stunning items

With our Inspiration Pack you are a bit like the Chef, given a selection of mouthwatering ingredients with which to magically create a delightful dish

ll these items are used at some point in my workshops and are there to help with finding the unusual that you may require to complete your project.

 

In addition you can sign up and pay for Workshop enrolments on the Workshop’s pages.

 

Workshop sign up

 This allows you to sign up and pay for Sue’s workshops

Add a Workshop enrolment to your shopping basket by clicking on the sign up button on the required event.

You can enrol yourself or multiple people for this event but we will require a name and e-mail address for each participant. Simply enter the number of spaces you wish to purchase in the Quantity field.

Enrolment will take place when you click on the Checkout button. You will be required to enter

  • e-mail address
  • name
  • telephone number

Once you have filled this in the normal checkout page will need completing

 

Workshop e-mails

 Once you have paid for your Workshop enrolment you will receive an order confirmation and an enrolment notification e-mail.  Seven days before the date of the workshop you will be sent a reminder e-mail.

NB: If you opt to pay by Cheque or Online Banking you will receive acknowledgement of your order by e-mail but you will not receive enrolment confirmation until payment has been received.


Adding Items to the Shopping Basket

When you find an item you wish to purchase enter the required amount in the “Quantity” box by the “Add to Basket” button. If you only need one item then there isn’t any need to enter anything. Click on the “Add to Basket” button and the item will be listed in the basket  which can be found at the top right of the page.

 

Shopping Basket

Every time you add a new item it will be added to the list in the basket. This will also allow you to keep track of the total amount. At any point before checkout you can remove items by clicking on the “Remove Product” button below each item.

 

View Basket

 To see images of the products in your cart, alter the number you are purchasing or check on the estimated cost of postage and packing. Click on the “View Basket” button.  Here you can also enter any coupon code you may have and see your total adjusted accordingly.

 

Checkout

 When you are happy with the items list in your basket you can proceed to the payment phase. Click on the “Checkout” button and you will be taken to the page where you can record your address and select your payment method.

We do not take any financial information on our web site. If you opt to pay by credit or debit card or by PayPal that will all take place within the security of the PayPal site that you will be taken to after completing our checkout procedure.

Postage and Packing details will be shown on this page once you have filled in your address. . (not valid for workshop signup)

Once you have filled in the required fields please click on the Review Order button at the bottom of the checkout page. You will be taken to a page where your order, delivery and payment details will be clearly listed. Make sure that this is all correct before proceeding to place your order. If you have chosen to pay by PayPal you will now be taken to PayPal's own secure site.

If you get the following error message An account already exists for your e-mail address. You will either need to login with this e-mail address or use a different e-mail address. Click here

 

Customer Accounts

All new customers will be given a customer account in our shop. You can opt to fill in your own username and password. Alternatively you can leave this blank and a username, based on your e-mail address and a password will be e-mailed to you after this stage.

An account will allow you to monitor the progress of your purchase, review previous purchases  and to speed up purchases in future by recording your name and address.

NB:  You will not be able to purchase from this site using an already used e-mail address unless you first log in using your membership username and password.

 Once you leave the Checkout for an order review your customer details are recorded within the system  if you leave the site or proceed to PayPal but return having not completed purchase you will need to login using your customer account username and login in order to continue to purchase with your already entered e-mail address. Details of this will have been e-mailed to you as soon as you went to the order review stage.


New customer Account e-mail

 This will provide you with details of your login name and password. It will also provide you with login links. It will be sent to you once you proceed to a review of your order.

If you did not receive account confirmation there may have been a problem with the e-mail address you have supplied. Can we suggest you check any spam mail box you may have to see if our e-mail has inadvertantly been passed there. If so please make info@texartcreative.com a trusted e-mail address in your e-mail client settings and any future communications will not be diverted.

If an e-mail cannot be found please contact us using info@texartcreative.com or the contact form on this web site and we will endeavour to rectify the problem.

If you did not provide us with a valid e-mail address you will, unfortunately,  not be able to proceed to payment from the web site. Your order will be recorded but no customer account will have been created for you. However, you may be able to contact us using the methods mentioned above in order to recover your order and arrange to make payment by cheque or bank transfer.

 

Existing Customer Login

There is a login entry at the bottom of the side bar on the site home page. Simply go to texartcreative.com. Enter your username and password.

 

Forgotten username and/or password

On the login entry area in the right side bar of the home page click on the “Request New Password” button.  On the following page you can enter either your username or the e-mail address you gave us on the checkout form.  An e-mail will then be sent to that e-mail address if it is registered with us.

 

Order Review

 This page allows you to look over the details of your purchase in one easy table. You can return to checkout from here if anything needs amending. Once you are happy with your order click on the order button.

If you get this error message:

An account already exists for your e-mail address. You will either need to login with this e-mail address or use a different e-mail address.

 Once you have proceeded to the order review stage your e-mail address will have been automatically attached to a customer account. An e-mail will have been sent to the entered e-mail address.

If you didn’t fill in the “New Account Details” section a username and temporary password will have been provided for you. The e-mail will give you these details and login details. If you have received a temporary password from us you will be required to enter your own when you return to the site.

If you have received this error message you should:

  • Login using your previously entered username and password
  • Or seek out the “New Account” e-mail and use the username and password that has been provided for you.
  • If you cannot find the "New Account" e-mail. Use the "Request New Password" link on the login block on the front page. A link to renew your password will be e-mailed to your already recorded e-mail account.

PayPal

 If you have opted to pay by Credit/Debit card or by PayPal account you will be taken to the PayPal secure payment site. Here you should again check that the order is correct and then follow the sites instructions to either enter your PayPal account details or proceed with the credit/debit card procedure. There is no requirement to have a PayPal account and customers should proceed to pay using their prefered payment method. PayPal accepts all major cards including Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

All of this financial dealing is undertaken securely on a completely separate web site administered by PayPal, one of the world’s largest web marketing payment providers. We receive no details about your account other than notification that payment has been successfully made.

PayPal do have a number of safeguards in their customer agreement that protect you as a customer against unscrupulous web purveyors.  We suggest that you read these terms and conditions if you feel a need.

 

Cheque and Online banking payment

Cheques in payment should be sent to TexArt Creative, 15 Greenway, Greasby, Wirral CH49 2NN together with the order number generated by our checkout. Online payments should be made through your bank, to our account 01840334, Sort Code 09-01-28, quoting the order number generated by our checkout. Goods will be despatch as soon as payment has cleared. An invoice will accompany your goods.
